Meet James LaTempa

My journey into real estate was almost predestined. Growing up next to a real estate office in Montgomery, New York, my mother worked as an agent. I spent countless hours at her desk, absorbing the rhythms of the industry from a young age. That foundation of experience, combined with the discipline instilled in me by my dad, a U.S. Army veteran, helped shape my rock solid work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.

Before ever becoming an agent, I held various jobs working with contractors. The knowledge and experience I gained was priceless. My first sales position was with Healey Brothers in Beacon, New York. That position, as well as studying the likes of authors Chris Voss and Dale Carnegie, sharpened my negotiation skills. Having lived and worked in diverse locales such as New York City, Portland, and Miami, I developed an acute ability to connect with people from all walks of life. As great as those experiences were, I always knew that the Hudson River Valley was the ideal place to settle down.

Being your traditional “full time” agent isn't enough for me.  I strive to transcend that role. I am a devoted student of real estate and my market, continuously expanding my knowledge and techniques to serve my clients on an elite level. Through exclusive one on ones, my YouTube channel, and social media platforms, I look to educate and empower buyers, sellers, and even fellow agents.
